A Baby Pygmy Seahorse

The pygmy seahorse, also known as Bargibanti's seahorse, (Hippocampus bargibanti) is a seahorse of the family Syngnathidae in the western central Pacific. It is tiny, no larger than about 2.4 cm.
This one we saw, was a baby Pygmy seahorse and only about the size of a quarter your little finger nail. We were so very lucky to find it. (With a great deal of help from our Dive Guide) Mind you, I reckon they know where all the fish live in their “Pond”.
